Carl Olsen

Carl Olsen is a 32 year old shaper/surfer. He is the head shaper for Two Crows Surfboards, based in Santa Cruz, California and Waialua, Hawaii. Beginning his surfing under Jack O'Neill's house at the age of 8, he started shaping 9 years later. Starting off in a humble backyard shaping room in Pleasure Point, he eventually refined his skills as one of the leading shapers for Pearson Arrow Surfboards for over a decade. Experimental and progressive minded, he builds every kind of surfboard imaginable. From guns for Mavericks and Waimea to short stubbies for 1' Pleasure Point mush. Longboarding has been one of his main focal points since he began shaping, its influence trickling down into all aspects of his surfing and shaping.
